THE STORY
This design is one of a series based on what sound an animal makes. Many of my designs have animals or weird creatures in them, but for this series I wanted to focus more on their environments than on the animals themselves. It’s all about the plants and rocks and growy things that surround the chosen animals, and oh boy was it a fun series to make!! I loooove how this one turned out. The colours and the pattern it all makes and all the rocks and cacti! And he’s a French snake. Hilarious!

THE FABRICS
All of the fabrics used for the prints are vintage or reclaimed fabrics that are sourced from a magical fabric sale that happens once a year in Calgary organized by the charity Ujamaa Grandmas. Donated fabric fills the basement of a church, with most fabrics going for $1/metre, and all proceeds going to the charity. It's honestly one of my favourite days of the year and has lead to me having a large and cherished collection of amazing fabrics. Because they are purchased second hand, I cannot be sure of the fabric contents.
All items are shipped from Calgary, AB Canada. Your goodies will be traveling in a cardboard envelope or box, no single use plastics here.
Within Canada, shirts will be sent as letter mail when possible. This basic service does NOT provide a tracking number, and delivery times are not guaranteed.
Bulkier items such as sweatshirts and orders of three or more shirts will be sent as expedited parcels with tracking when shipped within Canada, but again, times are not guaranteed.
Orders outside of Canada will be sent as standard airmail that does NOT provide tracking.
If you need an item to arrive by a certain date, please let me know, and we can arrange additional shipping charges for a faster service.
Refunds are not offered for errors in shipping that are beyond my control.
