Science Doodle - Port Unisex T-shirt
The theme I chose for my first submission to The Sketchbook Project (if you haven’t heard of it, check it out) four or five years ago was “science project gone wrong.” This crazy drawing is from one of the spreads in that book. There’s some petri dishes at the bottom and I imagined those little berry things going crazy and sprouting all that madness above them.
Printed on a Port Unisex Power Washed Cotton T-Shirt. (7.2 oz 100% Ringspun Fine Jersey Cotton). Absurdly soft cotton. Seriously, the absolute softest, smoothest cotton t-shirt you will ever find.
This is a Unisex fit shirt, which I sell mainly to the fellows. The power washed cotton shirts are a bit looser and longer, have a wider neck, and fit almost a size up from the other cotton and poly-cotton unisex shirts I have in my shop.
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Because it's a power washed cotton (it's gone through some sort of enzyme wash process that simulates 40 wash cycles), I've found it doesn't shrink at all in the dryer. I use water-based inks for all my prints, which are great because they sink right into the fabric instead of sitting on the surface. So they won't crack or fade, but just get softer with each wash until you can't even feel them!
